Malkin Morris is a Northwest Morris dance team based in Lancashire. We perform, research and promote local north west processional morris, step dances and music from Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle and Ribble Valley.
Our intention is to collect tunes local to the area for the dances, promote them and use them in the local dances.
The purpose of this Wiki is to collect and disseminate information and resources which have particular relevance to Morris Dance.
Dance notation, tunes, and historical information will be included, along with notes to show how dances have developed, and hints for performances.
